Privacy Policy

This website is a personal portfolio for Federico Baldan. It is designed to publish professional information, project summaries, contact details, public certification highlights, and a downloadable CV for recruiters, collaborators, search engines, and AI answer engines.

Data Collection

The static website itself does not include contact forms, account creation, advertising pixels, checkout flows, newsletter signup forms, or user tracking dashboards. If you contact Federico by email or LinkedIn, the information you provide is handled through those communication channels.

Analytics

The site uses Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool, to measure page visits in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not track visitors across other sites.

Server Logs

The hosting provider may process standard server logs such as IP address, requested URL, user agent, referrer, response status, and timestamp. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, uptime monitoring, and normal traffic delivery. They are not used on this site to build advertising profiles.

External Services

The site may load fonts and icon assets from third-party CDNs to render the portfolio interface. Visiting LinkedIn, opening an email client, or loading externally hosted icons uses the respective third-party services under their own privacy policies and infrastructure. The site also provides local fallback assets where practical.

AI and Search Crawlers

Public portfolio content may be crawled by search engines and AI answer engines according to the site robots policy. The crawler policy is available at /robots.txt. It is intended to help compliant crawlers discover, cite, and summarize public portfolio information accurately.

Public Professional Information

The portfolio intentionally publishes professional information such as name, role, location, skills, selected experience, certifications, and contact links. Do not treat this public information as permission to add Federico to unrelated mailing lists, automated recruiting databases, or unsolicited promotional campaigns.

Retention

Because this is a static portfolio, the website does not store visitor accounts or profile records. Any operational logs are handled by the hosting provider according to its own retention and security practices.
